Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Heard last night as we were finishing dinner...

Connor: May I get down please, Daddy?
Daddy: Yes.
Dad: Don't forget to take your plates over to the sink, please!
Connor: OK.
Connor (said under his breath after taking his plate to the sink): I don't know why I have to do all this stuff!

2009 Ponseti Fundraiser Calendar

Click here to order a calendar to raise funds for the Ponseti International Association. The Ponseti Method is the type of treatment that Marcus is receiving for his bilateral club feet. It is working very well and his feet look great! He'll be running around in no time!

The Ponseti International Association (PIA) is dedicated to the promotion of the Ponseti Method for the treatment of clubfoot. By fundraising, making educational materials about the method more readily available, training doctors around the world, and more, PIA is making strides in helping children walk...around the world.

"Through this association and the partnerships it will foster, our goal is to make Dr. Ponseti's clubfoot treatment available to any child, born anywhere in the world, with this condition."

Chess & Chocolate Milk

Several weeks ago Connor and Dad went to the Chocololate Milk Store, aka Starbucks, for one-on-one time. Well, it wasn't soon after we sat down for our chocolate milk, coffee, and donuts that Connor discovered a chess game being played just behind him. He pulled his chair right up to the guys playing chess and as he sipped his chocolate milk, intently watched the game.

And when that game concluded, he promptly moved on to observing a second game at the next table.

Perhaps Connor is going to be a world-champion chess player?!?!
